Hello everyone, I have a problem with zoo keepers they seem to want to monitor the zoo ALL the time.
I have one or two of them blocked in each of the displays so they are stuck there but to make them rake up poo or feed I still have to pick them up and place them down each time.
Is there a fix for this? I'm running windows xp and I've installed the original Zoo tycoon and the expansion pack Marine Mania with Dinosaur Dig (together)
The version says 12.04.00.0009.
Can someone tell me if I'm missing an update or something? I have about 13 displays and it's really getting hard to keep up with these guys. Especially since Lions and Polar Bears seem to really like to poo!!

This is probably a stupid question, but did you assign the zookeepers to the exhibits? Assuming that you did and they're still being lazy bums, try blocking them in between two exhibits. Let them go back and forth between them, but put water or something in the way so they can't wander the rest of the zoo. They'll go back and forth between the exhibits and take care of stuff. I had a problem recently with my maintainance workers. They refused to empty the trash. I think their union was on strike or something!
