The population of my lions have gotten out of control yet I can only seem to randomly ship them off to the wild. How do I make my animals eligible to "get rid of" so that I can thin out the populations ?
thanks,
Joanne.

Not hungry, sick, weak, unhappy or anything like that. if you have too many animals try selling some first and then shipping the others off after some are happier.

If overcrowding is the problem then crate some animals and remove them from the exhibit. The remaining animals will become happy now that they are not crowded and can then be released. Then replace the crated animal into the exhibit (and uncrate!).

To sum it up, you have to satisfy all of their basic and advanced needs before they can be shipped off and released into the wild. By the way, if the animal is too young you can't release them into the wild. There is no selling animals on ZT2 (not that I've found) but you can put the animals up for adoption.

To maintain animal populations I generally limit each population to 8... 4 male and 4 female. The only exception to this is flamingoes which I produce and let reproduce at will.
