I've noticed I'm not alone in running into some issues with this game and wanted to see just how wide-spread these issues are for those who own it.
Thanks for your time,
Chip

The game slows down on my computer too. It also freezes and takes forever to load up. It took 10 minutes to save my game! My computer is only about 2 years old and meets all the games requirements. I am really bummed out with ZT2. Its really frustrating to play after a half hour

After initially having an issue with my graphics card driver crashing the game, I read the readme file and updated my driver. Now I can run the game but it is so slow I can't play it! (right from the beginning). I note the readme file says that Windows ME may have some performance issues and to turn off other applications. I have no other applications running and my machine specs are all above the minimum as per the game documentation. Very frustrating!!!

TEXTIt says I need a special video card or something, and I need, like a BOATLOAD of memory in the computer. So, I got the memory, but then it said the thing about the video card. Does anybody have any idea why it's doing this? And if so, can you help?

Yes, I can't get it to work at all. My son is so disappointed as he got it as a Christmas present, and I can't return it because it has been opened.

Just tried to install it on a Dell Inspiron 5100 laptop & it wouldn`t run. The ATI Radeon 7500 mobility graphics card is not supported. Trouble is you don`t find this out until you have opened the box & installed it. this is a disgusting way to treat your customers. On seeing the list of other cards not supported begs the question why are they listed on the box. Saves us wasting our money. I wouldn`t recommend it to anyone with a laptop.

i ran into some problems with my video card too. It said it was not supported or something like that. I researched on line, and found a way around it, so you can at least play the game. Im cant remember exactlly what I did...but I went into the zoo tycoon 2 folder on my hard drive. found the text file and deleted the line under my video card that said, unsupported card. I resaved it, and then it ran. So far, I havent had any problems with game play or graphics.

Very disappointed in the game, while creating a zoo the game performs illegal actions and a lot of times my computer freezes totally. We need to reboot over andd over what a waste of money!
