well its where they have trampled too much and made ground kinda lumpy.. You just go into whatever ground cover they use..forest floor? not sure havent done them yet.. anyway you just run curser over entire area until you see trampled floor it will says that and replace it, with what was there Alot of times you can see it it looks lumpy and different from rest of ground

yes- that is basically what it is I suggest turning off your trees (small button with a tree(s) on it, near the pause game button) Then, look for abnomalities on the ground cover If you run your cursor over it--it will tell you trampled ground-- it can be hard to see(especially with rainforest floor-- and sometimes it is easier to just redo all of the ground in the exhibit there is also a thing known as rumle-- these are trampled trees ussually seen with larger animals Ways to Avoid -- Trampled Ground and RumbleRubble -- simply plant all your trees against the fences ---or --- make a small island in the middle of the water and plaster it with trees so thick that the animals cant climb on it ( you can also pin the trees on the otherside of the water- still packed close togethers) Trampled ground-- some ground cover is more durable then others -- seems to me that rainforest is the weakest -- Dirt and sand seem to be the most durable And as you remember-- most exhibits require a little dirt or sand-- or even brown or grey stone -- so consider where the animals wear out there exhibit and place these ground covers there It wont stop it completely but it sure helps

Lisbeth - On your toolbars menu that runs along the bottom of the screen, look on the left hand side next to the pause button, there are three little buttons. One has a little hut on it, one has a stick figure person on it, and one has a tree on it. If you click on the one with the tree it will hide all the foliage, the person button hides all the guests, etc. Or you can hold down the Ctrl key and hit F, and that will also hide the trees. HTH!!

Hmmm... What version of the game do you have? I have the Complete Collection, so maybe the controls look different than they do on the original game. Did you try hitting Ctrl F? That should still work to hide the trees. You should make a new thread for this question, probably someone else who knows more about the different versions of the game can help.
